Recognizing the urgency, a comprehensive and user-friendly solution was deemed necessary to unlock the full potential of refugee statistics and better serve displaced populations globally.
Solution
Hexis approached the solution with a commitment to practicality and success by incorporating existing working methods into the new software. The outcome was:
- Refugee Statistics Repository (RSR): Hexis developed a dynamic platform that categorized data into three essential groups – Country of Origin, Country of Asylum, and Country of Resettlement.
- User-Friendly Input: Staff could input data manually or seamlessly import it from Excel sheets directly into the RSR, reducing errors and improving efficiency.
- Seamless Integration: The RSR seamlessly integrated with existing workflows, ensuring a smooth transition and adoption by UNHCR staff.
Outcome
Hexis played a crucial role in helping UNHCR shed light on accurate and easily accessible statistical data. The new custom software provided UNHCR with:
- 100% Compliance Rate: The RSR recorded a remarkable 100% compliance rate from UNHCR staff, showcasing its user-friendly design and practicality.
- Centralized Information: Users had access to clear, centralized, and up-to-date information, enhancing the reliability and accessibility of refugee statistics.
